7 Festival Trends to Rock This Summer!

The worst thing is looking forward to going to every festival and then having nothing to wear when it finally arrives. Does anyone else relate? This has happened to me way too much in the past and my goal is for it to happen as minimally as possible this year. Have a similar goal? Keep reading on how to prevent this!

Style the Look: Not into the puff shoulder maxi dress scene? Allow a puff shoulder crop to be the center of attention paired with your favorite blue jeans or a skirt. This top will be ideal for warmer weather.

2. Crop Tops

The best part about a crop top is that they're super comfortable and you won't get too hot in a mosh pit wearing one. This trend speaks for itself and can make a big statement.

Style the Look: A crop top looks great with basically everything high waisted. This crowd pleaser looks good with pretty much anything.

Some say bralettes are the new crop top trend and if you're one to take a fashion risk, then this bralette trend is 100% worth it. "Bralettes have diversified for an increasingly structured bust, while accessorizing the finishes for a super-stylish look." Try a metal bralette. This is perfect because it has the right amount of bling and the perfect amount of festival. But just make sure to bring nipple covers!

Style the Look: A metallic/sequin bralette is most likely to be the statement piece of your outfit! Pair it with plain flare pants or high waisted jean shorts for a sexy, fun look.

Because this season is all about the return of a vintage 70s vibe, there's nothing better than trying something a little more daring to a festival. The best part about pants is that you will be able to dance your heart out comfortably. "If you haven't bought this super trendy pants style, then you better do it now! I am serious. Why? That's a great chance to try boho-style without looking like a hippie."

Style the Look: The best way to wear this silhouette is to allow it to be the main event of your outfit. Pair the pants with a super cute crop top or bodysuit. This way you won't over-do your outfit.

5. Matching Set Outfits

Style the Look: Since a matching set is pretty self-explanatory it can be a really simple outfit. Dress up your matching set with some accessories, glitter, or statement shoes to really stand out!

When you are outside all day no matter the weather conditions, footwear is key. Trust me, heels and sandals are not ideal, so don't try it at a festival! You're going to be on your feet all day, save them by wearing something comfortable.

Style the Look: Considering you may be wearing fishnets, you are obviously going to want to show them off! For a statement 90's grunge look, pair these with some vintage denim shorts and a band t-shirt.

Absolutely nothing is worse than going to a festival without your sunnies! "I personally couldn't think of anything worse than being at a festival on a super sunny day and not being able to see a thing." Make quite the fashion statement this summer while still being practical.

... there are WAY more festival trends than just these 7. If you'd like for me to do another article similar to this, please feel free to contact me or comment on my Instagram!
