It may not be the warmest time of the year to start shopping for swimsuits, but with Spring Break coming up, I thought it was only necessary to start the bathing suit search. Expect to see reimagined silhouettes and new trends such as SLEEVES, cutouts, and incredible prints! Stay tuned for a later upload this week to see MY personal SS19 Swimsuit Look Book!

1. Pastel Swimsuits
A soft, pastel-colored suit should always be a "yes" if you're considering taking it on Spring Break with you. This easy-to-wear color looks great with every skin tone and can make your sun-kissed glow stand out.
2. Ruffle Swimwear
This major swimsuit trend is crazy flattering. This style can be found in silhouettes such as bikinis and statement one-pieces as well.
3. Summer Velvet
Who knew velvet swimwear was even a thing? Or for that matter, waterproof too?! This silhouette is made from nylon and lycra. Not only is it surprisingly stretchy, but it also holds its shape and shine overtime too.
Polka dots are both precious and powerful, but whether you go for a microprint or a more graphic take, they are timeless. This season they’re especially on trend. Regardless of your preference polka dot swimwear comes with a refreshing vibe for 2019.
5. Sleeves!
When it comes to a swimsuit, you might not thing of sleeves. But these surf inspired two-piece suits are taking over the market. Whether you're going for a sportier look, or just a little bit more coverage from the sun, this sleeve look is perfect.
6. Animal Print
For most people when animal print and the word swimsuit are combined in the same sentence it usually results in words like tacky. Personally when I think of a hot pink swimsuit with zebra stripes, tacky is exactly what I think of. But when leopard is combined with a nude undertone, I can't do anything but gush over it.
7. High-Leg Cut
Not only is the swimsuit trend taking over Instagram feeds, but it also makes you feel and look taller! Thanks to the cut on the leg hitting right above the hip bone, the natural line of your leg appears to extend higher and reach longer.
