A Quick & Easy Friendsgiving Meal Everyone Will Love

A fun way to celebrate thanksgiving early while getting excited for the holidays is to host a friendsgiving with your friends and roommates! It is a perfect and peaceful way to wrap everything up and show your friends how much you appreciate them before leaving for break. The meal I have created down below is a quick and inexpensive meal (cost divided up by friends) everyone will love. Happy Friendsgiving!

Stay stylish,

Jen Stack

Heads Up!!: You may need to double some of the ingredients depending on how many people you have.

Turkey Strawberry Sandwiches

These turkey sandwiches are super easy to make and they go HARD! (They are really good!) The best way to describe these sandwiches is that it is basically Thanksgiving in one bite.

What You Will Need:

  • Sweet Hawaiian Sandwich Buns

  • Smucker's Strawberry Jelly

  • Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh Honey Smoked Turkey Breast

  • Chicken Flavored Stove Top Stuffing Mix

Directions:

  1. Cook the stove top stuffing mix according to the directions on the box.

  2. Take a sandwich bun and spread strawberry jelly on both the top and bottom slices of the bun.

  3. Place 2 - 4 slices of turkey on to the top part of the bun.

  4. Take (a generous amount) stuffing and spread it on to the bottom slice of the bun.

  5. Finish the sandwich by combining both the top and bottom part of the bun back together.

Sweet Mashed Potatoes

One of the perfect sides to go with a thanksgiving turkey sandwich is no other than mashed potatoes. These mashed potatoes are not only good for you, but they also taste great because of the sweet and salty flavor.

What you will need:

  • Bird's Eye Veggie Made Sweet Mashed Potatoes and Carrots - Brown Sugar Flavored

Directions:

  1. Cook accordingly to directions on the box and that's it!

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Mashed potatoes aren't your thing? Another great side are Pillsbury crescent rolls dipped in honey!

What you will need:

  • A can of original Pillsbury crescent rolls

  • Honey of your choice

  • A small dish/bowl

Directions:

  1. Cook the crescent rolls accordingly to the can.

  2. Pour the honey into the small dish.

  3. Dip the crescent rolls into the honey and enjoy!

Garden Salad

Want a healthy alternative? A good way to do this is with a fresh salad. My favorite is pretty simple, but still tastes amazing!

What you will need:

  • A salad bowl

  • Salad tongs

  • Prepackaged salad lettuce of your choice

  • Spinach

  • 2-3 Cold Tomatoes

  • 1-2 Cold Cucumbers

  • La Choy Chow Mein Noodles

  • Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing

Directions:

  1. Add the prepackaged salad lettuce and spinach into the salad bowl.

  2. Using the tongs, toss the spinach and lettuce.

  3. Chop the tomatoes and cucumbers.

  4. Once finished chopping the veggies, incorporate them into the salad bowl.

  5. Add the chow mein noodles for an extra crunch!

  6. Add salad dressing to the entire bowl or just to yours and enjoy!

Dessert

Because I want to make this meal quick and easy, dessert is a little tricky. I recommend going to your local grocery store and finding some pre-made desserts in the bakery department.
